Clean and green

A clean and green day is being held on the Trees Estate in North Bersted today (Thursday, April 16).

The event for all ages is taking place on the green area on Sycamore Road between 10am and 2pm. It has been organised by Arun District Council and the Trees Estate Residents' Association.

Energy-efficiency tips, freebies to publicise improvements to the doorstep recycling service and a survey about a new recycling centre are among the activities being held.

A litter-pick during the session will also give the estate a spring clean.
