Campaigners handed out newspapers with their hopes for climate change policy to come from the Paris talks.

Bexhill and Hastings Global Justice Now members hit the streets of Bexhill calling for a reduction in fossil fuels usage and other measures to keep carbon dioxide emissions down.

Group member Julia Dance said: “Despite it being a cold and blustery day, our group was set to spend an hour distributing the Global Justice 100 plus copies of the newspaper, but they were all snapped up within half an hour.

“We were aware that a good proportion of people were already very knowledgeable about climate change and keen to learn more from the free newspaper.”

On January 18, the group will be screening This Changes Everything, the film based on Naomi Klein’s highly acclaimed book of the same name.
