Climping charity’s invitation to free family party

THE fun is free at a special party organised by a Climping charity, at the nearby Flying Fortress play complex, at Ford.

Families with children who have medium to high disabilities, and their siblings, are invited to the free party on Friday, March 22, from 4-7pm.

It’s being organised by Crossroads Care, South Central, and anyone who would like to be there must call the charity on 01903 790270 to obtain a guest code to be able to attend. The party has been funded by West Sussex County Council.

It is being held to celebrate what the charity describes as “an outstanding year” of children’s care in West Sussex, supporting an average 65 families on a weekly basis. Many will be among those attending the party.

Crossroads has been recognised by the county council for providing “exceptional” care. Eric Geddes, chief executive of the charity, said: “We are immensely proud of all our staff who have contributed to this very successful year of support to children whom have a disability in the county.

“West Sussex County Council Child Disability Team has provided additional funding and we want to celebrate with a fun party. We are encouraging children to invite their mum or dad and their brothers and sisters to enjoy free party food and the Flying Fortress soft play areas.”
