A coffee morning will be staged for Macmillan Cancer Support in Seaford today (Friday September 27).
There will be coffee and cake at St Thomas More Church Hall in Sutton Road from 10am to 12 noon.
Then from 12 noon to 2pm there will be lunch costing £4.
Visitors can also expect tombolas, raffles and a teddy bear picnic, as well as stalls selling items such as cakes.
The free event is part of a national fundraising drive called Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee morning, in which the charity asks people to hold a coffee morning, where donations on the day are made to Macmillan.
In 2012 a total of 115,000 people signed up to coffee morning, raising a record £15m.
