Coffee morning raises funds for Community Hall
LITTLE Common Morning Townswomens Guild held a coffee morning at St Martha's church hall at the weekend.
Raising funds for their chosen charity, which this year is the Little Common Community Hall, the ladies of the guild had a wide range of stalls for the many supporters who attended the event to browse over and purchase from.
The selection included home-made cakes, books, bric a brac, cards, toys, tombola, raffle, teas and coffees, and raised just over 300, which Chairman, Margaret Kirk said, "was not a bad result considering the weather was not particularly nice."
