Coffee shop fire in Rustington

Fire crews were called to a coffee shop in Rustington in the early hours of this morning.

One person was treated for smoke inhalation following the fire in the ground floor shop in Churchill Parade, according to fire services.

A call at 2am alerted West Sussex Fire and Rescue to the fire, which was below two floors of domestic properties.

Two Littlehampton crews used one hose reel and two breathing apparatus to tackle the fire and left the scene at 4.17am.
