Collection dates corrected

The calendars will be posted through their front doors on the same day as their waste collection.

The leaflets replace the wrong information published in waste collection company Verdant's calendar on the back page of the current edition of Arun District Council's Arun Times magazine.

Councillor Paul Wotherspoon, in charge of Arun's refuse and recycling work, said: 'We apologise for any confusion caused and are pleased that Verdant has acted so quickly to rectify the problem.'

An advert with the correct dates is to be published in Observer.
