Collection will aid disabled people

The Battle and Robertsbridge District of the East Sussex Disability Association raised £255 with a successful street collection on May 30.

Money raised from the collection will benefit disabled people in Battle, Robertsbridge and the surrounding area who enjoy a monthly outing for lunch or tea in specially adapted coaches with a tailgate lift enabling easy access for wheelchairs and mobilisers.

The East Sussex Disability Association is a registered charity with 70 years experience in supporting disabled people.

It campaigns for better access and equality.
