“It has achieved some the best GCSE results in the county, is oversubscribed with a waiting list, and is working towards achieving an “Outstanding” rating from Ofsted.

“The college is looking for additional governors to become part of this dynamic set up and encourages interested parties to apply. There is a particular vacancy at present for a co-opted governor, with possible expertise in any of the following; HR, finance, post-16 education or business/community engagement.

“However, they would welcome interest from any adults who share their passion for ensuring the best possible provision of education is provided for the students attending the college.

“The governors meet as a full body on 10 dates a year, with an additional three meetings for any member serving on the Finance committee. There are also occasional topic specific meetings and working parties scattered through the year. The majority of meetings are after college. Governors
