College maths champs win bronze certificates

SIX gold, 19 silver and 30 bronze certificates were awarded at St Richard’s Catholic College to pupils who took park in a countrywide maths challenge. They were from Years 9, 10 and 11.

Congratulations were given to pupils in years 9, 10 and 11at St. Richard’s Catholic College who took part in the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge.

The questions in the Challenge are designed to encourage pupils to develop mathematical reasoning to solve non-standard problems. Year 11 pupil Jakub Poroslo was awarded best in college.
