According to police, it was reported the vehicles were involved in a collision on the roundabout before both travelling along Friday Street, Langney Rise, Marsden Road and then Ashgate Road. The Corsa then continued back to Marsden Road before heading along Etchingham Road and Priory Road.

Police say a man was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle dangerously and has been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.

Now, officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw either vehicle travelling in the area, or who may have captured any relevant dash cam footage.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 510 of 25/04.
