Community groups benefit from council grants

More than Â£6,000 has been handed out by councillors to groups operating in the Bognor Regis area.

The amounts approved were: 4Sight '“ 1,000; Wellspring West Sussex '“ 300; Mad Acts '“ 1,000; Sofas and Stuff '“ 750; The Samaritans '“ 900; Bognor Regis Yacht Club '“ 1,600; and Konnect '“ 1,000.

These awards have left the committee with more than 16,720 to distribute this financial year.
