Community joins forcesCash donated to help kids have new play area

ASDA shoppers donated almost £600 towards the creation of a new all-weather play garden for children at St Nicks Nursery, St Leonards, a project of the FSN charity. Two cheques totalling £592.50 were presented to FSN by Wendy Border ASDA Community Champion. The money was raised by customers donating loose change into collection buckets at checkouts and as a result of St Nicks nursery winning the Green Token initiative voted for by ASDA customers. Wendy says they want to help FSN make a difference to children at the nursery and raise the profile of the appeal for the garden, which will incorporate sensory play areas, paths and areas of interest and learning for the children.
