COMMUNITY MINIBUS IS GREAT NEWS FOR HENFIELD
HENFIELD residents will have a vastly improved quality of life thanks to a new 16-seater community bus which was launched on Saturday at Henfield Country Fair.
For the past two years, the Henfield Community Partnership has been setting up a community transport scheme to provide a minibus for use by all local residents.
The scheme was aided by Action in Rural Sussex, the charitable organisation promoting rural communities throughout Sussex, and gained 40,000 funding from the South East England Development Agency as well as money from West Sussex County Council and grants from the Barchester Healthcare Foundation and Horsham District Council.
