Community resolution after Crawley boy arrested

A 12-year-old Crawley boy who was arrested for possession of an imitation gun in a public place after '˜shots were fired at houses' has been dealt with a community resolution.

A police spokesman said officers were called to a report of juveniles waving and shooting a BB gun at houses in Grattons Drive, Pound Hill, after midday on May 7.

The boy was arrested and released on police bail until Monday (June 13).

Crawley Police posted this picture of a BB gun officers seized on its Twitter account.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “A 12-year-old boy from Crawley has been dealt with by way of community resolution for possessing an imitation firearm in a public place.”
