Concerns raised over '˜rogues' in Horley

Police say they are aware of concerns raised on social media about '˜rogues' cold-calling Horley homes.

Suspicions over men in their 20s knocking on doors in the Riverside Estate, Langshott, Chequers Drive, and Horley Row areas have been raised on Horley Town’s Facebook page.

A Surrey Police spokesman said: “Officers from the Reigate and Banstead Safer Neighbourhood Team are aware of recent social media posts relating to cold callers in the Horley area. Officers are making further local enquiries but at this stage no reports of alleged offences have been received.”
