Conservatives take Roffey division narrowly ahead of UKIP
Conservative district councillor Jim Rae has seen off the UKIP candidate by just 25 votes to take Roffey ward from the Liberal Democrats.
Mr Rae received 753 votes in the West Sussex County Council election to Mike Rowlands’ 728. Incumbent Warwick Hellawell received 597 votes, with Labour’s George Murrell garnering 244 votes.
