The city council is set to cut hundreds of thousands of pounds from the youth service budget which helps fund a consortium of charities and community groups.

The cuts are a result of £51m savings the council must make over the next three years.

The consultation lists a number of services that would be affected if the budget proposals are agreed. The questions are designed to gain young people’s views about the overall service and the individual parts offered by the council and by voluntary organisations.

All responses will be shared with councillors ahead of the council’s budget meeting on Thursday, February 23.
