Councillor caught on phone while driving

On February 4, West Sussex County councillor for Saltings ward Mick Clark, of Beedings Close, Sompting, appeared at Worthing Magistrates’ Court after police caught him talking on his mobile phone while driving in Southwick.
Mr Clark said: “Unfortunately, I picked up a call on my phone. I shouldn’t have done it, I was wrong to do it, I got caught and I’m paying my dues as I should do as a citizen.”
