Council's award

Environmental health officers at Arun District Council have received renewed recognition for their excellent service.

The government's Cabinet Office has confirmed the Charter Mark, awarded last year for the third time, should continue.

A recent assessment found the service demonstrated a real culture of customer service.

Charter Marks recognise exemplary delivery of public services. They are assessed annually after being awarded for three years.

Arun head of environmental health Paul Unsworth said: 'Our assessor was struck by the dedication, skill and enthusiasm of the team. I congratulate them all for their hard work.'
