COUNTY NEWS: Body discovered on Brighton beach
Police have confirmed a body has been discovered just west of the pier in Brighton.
It follows an extensive search earlier today for a 28-year-old man reported missing in the sea.
A police spokesman said: “Sadly, it is believed to be that of the missing man. The coroner’s officer has been notified and next of kin informed.”
