Couple appeal for help in finding missing cat

A BEXHILL couple are appealing for help in tracing the whereabouts of their cat who has been missing for almost a week.

Paul Gilchrist and Sophie Ellis, who live in Cornwall Road, said they last saw 'Timmy' on the evening of Wednesday 21 July, Sophie said:

"Timmy is a short-haired white and tabby cat. He's quite timid but friendly. He's never gone off before; it's totally out of character for him to be missing for this long."

The couple are concerned that something may have happened to their two year old pet, who has been part of their family since they adopted him from the Cats Protection.

They are afraid that he may be trapped or injured and are appealing to residents in the Egerton Park area to check their gardens and sheds to see if there is any sign of Timmy, who does not wear a collar but is chipped.
