The following are court results from Hastings Magistrates' Court covering the Eastbourne area from January 6 - January 7.

Jan 6:

Reese Page, 19, of Market Square, Hailsham, pleaded guilty to four charges of stealing from shops. The offences took place at Bexhill on November 11 when he admitted stealing aftershave worth £63 from Boots, DVDs valued at £87 from Tesco, as well as goods worth £56.97, from Halfords and headphones worth £24.99 from Currys. The court made a community order with a requirement of 100 hours of unpaid work.

Adam Walder, 28, of Gilbert Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle on Little London Road, Horam, on December 17, while over the drink-drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 51 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35mg. He was fined £350 and banned from driving for 12 months.

James Billing, 20, of Woodpecker Way, Uckfield, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle on the A267 at North Street, Hellingly, on June 20 last year, without due care and attention. He was fined £320 and banned from driving for six months.

Nikki Box, 32, of Whitbread Close, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle on Seaside Road, Eastbourne, on December 19, without insurance. She was fined £110 and her driving record endorsed with six penalty points.

Darren Carnochan, 45, of Seaside, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to stealing fragrances worth £155 from Boots, at The Crumbles, on November 28. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £155 in compensation.

Jessica Langstreth, 23, of St Annes Road, Willingdon, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle on Wannock Avenue, Eastbourne, on December 19, while over the drink-drive limit.

She gave an alcohol breath reading of 68 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35mg. She also pleaded guilty to driving with no insurance. She was fined a total of £400 and banned from driving for 17 months.

James King, 44, of Wadhurst Close, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to four charges of stealing from shops and a charge of threatening behaviour.

He stole a jacket worth £229.99 from Trespass, Terminus Road, and Sony speakers worth £99.98 from HMV, in the Arndale Centre, on December 30.

He also pleaded guilty to stealing a television and Microsoft tablet from Sainsburys, Eastbourne, on December 2 and 6. He was given an eight-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months.

The court also made a community order with requirements for alcohol treatment and drugs rehabilitation and imposed a 12-week, electronically monitored curfew, between 8pm and 6am.

Katie Williams, 27, of Wadhurst Close, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to stealing a television, worth £100, from Sainsburys, Eastbourne, on December 2.

She was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £50 compensation.

Kenneth Trigwell, 47, of Pulborough Avenue, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle on Seaside Road, Eastbourne, on November 24, while over the drink-drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 63 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35mg. He was fined £200 and banned from driving for 16 months.

Zheer Shapol, 19, of Enys Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to common assault and possessing cocaine. The offences took place at Langney Road, Eastbourne, on December 22. He was fined £100 for each offence.

Ryan Hart, 21. of Vale Road, Seaford, pleaded guilty to two charges of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, when he had with him a knuckle-duster and a baton. The offences took place at Polegate on December 22. The court made a community order with a requirement of 200 hours of unpaid work and imposed a three month electronically tagged curfew.
