The club has announced a three year partnership with suppliers to the royal family, Spink & Son to design and produce the badges.

Spink & Son, originally founded in 1666, is renowned for the design and manufacture of orders, decorations and medals and has produced new designs for the club’s playing and non-playing members’ badges.

Spink will also sponsor the 15 goal Cicero Cup at Cowdray Park.

Suppliers to the British royal family since Queen Victoria’s reign, Spink’s work is also commissioned by heads of state, and the Armed Forces throughout the world. It also has a worldwide reputation as leading specialist auctioneers of stamps, coins, banknotes, medals, bonds and shares, autographs, books and wines.

Managing director, Tim Hirsch, said: “In its 350 year history, Spink has had much association with the crown, the armed forces and sport. How fitting it is we should now support the ‘sport of kings’ and one of the most prestigious polo clubs. We look forward to our partnership with Cowdray.”

Chairman of Cowdray Park Polo Club, Peter Barfoot, added: “We are delighted to welcome Spink & Son as a new partner. I feel sure our members will be looking forward to the arrival of their new season badges with great interest.”
