CRASH VICTIMS NAMED

The two people who died in separate traffic accidents on East Sussex roads at the weekend have been named.

Francis Styles, aged 25, of Greenwich Road, Hailsham, died at 5pm on Saturday.

He was a motorcyclist and was in collision with a car on the A27 at Selmeston.

The car driver was slightly injured.

The road was closed for more than five hours in both directions.

There is a police appeal for witnesses.

At 7.30pm on Sunday a pedal cyclist was in collision with a car north of the Cophall roundabout on the A22 at Polegate.

The cyclist, Kevin Gilmour,42, Woburn Way, Eastbourne. He died at the scene and the driver and passenger in the car were slightly injured.
