Crawley burglar jailed for three years

A Crawley man has been jailed for three years after pleading guilty to burgling a family home.

A police spokesman said Robin Raison, 26, of Goffs Park Road, was sentenced at Lewes Crown Court on Friday (May 27).

He broke in and stole cash from a property in Horsham Road, Pease Pottage on April 18 before he was arrested and charged the following day, said police.

Investigating Officer Rebecca Doherty said: “I am pleased that we were able to bring justice to the family who were the victims of this burglary.

“We would always encourage anyone who spots suspicious behaviour outside a property to call us on 101 or 999 in an emergency.”
