Crawley Council Tax rise approved

Crawley Borough Council will increase its share of Council Tax by 0.77 per cent from April.

The rise was approved at a Full Council meeting at the Town Hall last night (Wednesday February 24).

Councillors voted to approve the authority’s budget 2016/17 and increase its element of the tax for the first time in six years, which will mean an extra £1.44 a year for a Band D property in the town.
