Crawley drink-driver who resisted police banned

A delivery man who resisted police after he was caught drink-driving has been banned for a year.

A police spokesman said Joshua North, 23, of Jewel Walk, Bewbush, pleaded guilty to drink-driving and obstructing an officer in the execution of their duty.

He was arrested and charged with driving while having 46mg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in Poynings Road, Ifield on December 18. He was fined £280, disqualified from driving for a year and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on January 12.
