Crawley Town striker nominated for League Two Goal of the Month award

The 27-year-old has been shortlisted for the award following his delightful goal at Tranmere Rovers.

Nichols finished a flowing Reds attack with a delicate flick from close-range to secure a 1-0 win at Prenton Park on March 6.

The forward has been nominated alongside Mansfield Town's George Maris and Stephen Quinn.

It is a second monthly awards nomination for the Crawley marksman.

Nichols has also been shortlisted for the PFA Bristol Street Motors League Two Fans' Player of the Month for March.

Voting for the March Goal of the Month Award is open from 10am on Friday, April 16 on the Sky Bet League Two Twitter account.

Voting closes on Monday, April 19 and the winner will be announced on Friday, April 23.
