Crawley women who managed brothel avoid jail

Two women have avoided jail after pleading guilty to managing a brothel in High Street, Crawley.

Maria Di Colli, 28, and Valbetanea Nascimento de Santana, 37, both of Ash Road, Crawley, were sentenced at Lewes Crown Court on Friday, August 19, following an investigation into the management of a brothel in January this year.

Both defendants pleaded guilty and were given a 12 month Community Order, 200 hours unpaid work, and a victim surcharge of £85, along with prosecution costs of £260.
