The Crawley Town forward would like to remain at the club but does not want to rush into a decision with no deals actually offered yet.

Former Bristol Rovers, Wycombe and Southend player Harrold said: “I am positive about staying and am happy at the club.

“I have been made a verbal offer and no figures have been mentioned. I have got to wait for the official figure and it’s not a decision you just rush into.

“I’ve got to weigh everything up and do what’s best for me and my family.”

Harrold seems to have clicked with the new head coach and is popular with the fans.

He said: “I’ve liked my time at Crawley and they like me. The manager has been impressive so far. I will make my decision when I’m ready.”
