Crazy golf tournament raised cash for charity

Crazy golfers raised more than £1,200 in an annual challenge in Bognor Regis.

The third of the tournaments held by the town's Lions club at the Waterloo Square course was a great success.

The event attracted 30-plus teams willing to put their skills towards conquering the various obstacles on a chilly and dry evening.

The winners were the History Makers with a score of 104. One of the team's members, Jon Galpin, was the individual winner with a score of 33.

Course operator Paul Tiernan made the site available to the Lions and the fundraising was boosted by the overall sponsorship of Reynolds Furnishings and backers for each of the 18 holes.
