Creative HQ hosts open studio event
RYE’S School Creative Centre will be showcasing the work of some of its award winning artists and makers when it holds an Open Studio event on Saturday October 22 from 10am - 6pm.
Sally Lampitt, from the Creative Centre, said: “Open studios are a great way to learn first hand about what drives and motivates artists to create, and the processes involved when producing their work.
“With more than 25 artists at The School – painters, a weaver, sculptor, printmaker, jeweller, photographers, ceramicist, silversmith and textile specialists – there will be something for everyone and an ideal opportunity to view, chat, question and buy.”
Entry is free. Refreshments will be available throughout the day and there is plenty of free parking.
