Hide AdHanna Boal, who runs Hands On Workshops, said the yurt was now a permanent feature at the Brighton Road centre and a programme of creative days and shared workshops was planned for the school holidays.

“It is great. I am a qualified teacher but I decided to go back to running workshops to try to give children the chance to explore different techniques and materials,” she explained.
Sessions are for a maximum of ten children, aged four to 13. Visit www.facebook.com/handsoncommunity or email Hanna at [email protected] for more information.
