Crews attend fire at St Leonards seafront building

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service crews were called to an address at Marina at 11.38am following reports of smoke and a fire alarm sounding.

There was a fire on the third floor of a property, an ESFRS spokesman said.

The spokesman added: “Two breathing apparatus and one hose reel was used.

“There are no reports of injuries.”

Smoke from the fire is still causing issues for drivers as it is affecting visibility, and the road is partially blocked, causing delays.
