Crews called to campervan fire by Eastbourne seafront
Firefighters were called to a campervan which was ‘well alight’ in Eastbourne this evening.
Crews were alerted at just before 6pm to the fire in Prince William Parade.
One fire engine attended the scene, where it found the campervan ‘well alight’.
One breathing apparatus and main hose was used to extinguish to fire.
Firefighters remain on the scene damping down, a spokesman from the fire service confirmed.
