Crews called to car fire in Lewes

Firefighters were called to a car fire in Lewes this morning (Monday, July 20).

East Sussex Fire and Rescue service received a call at 9.48am from a man to say his car had just burst into flames.

Crews attended the scene, on Brighton Road, but the blaze was out on arrival.

The man was uninjured and the cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
