Crews called to fire in Seaford flat

Firefighters were called to a fire at a flat in Seaford this morning (Sunday, January 17).

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service received a call at around 10:40am to say there was smoke coming from a property in Merryfield Court, Marine Parade.

Firefighters using two breathing apparatus and a C02 extinguisher to put out the flames in the bathroom of a second-floor flat.

There were no injuries.
