Crews tackle Eastergate fire

Firefighters have been tackling a garage fire in Eastergate which broke out earlier today.

Three fire crews attended after being called to Eastergate Lane at 11.57am.

A domestic garage was alight, and firefighters used six breathing apparatus, two hose reels and one jet to extinguish the blaze in around an hour.

There were no reported injuries.
