Cricket clubs hope to attract new players with family fun day in Lower Horsebridge

A cricket match with plenty of family attractions will take place in Lower Horsebridge on Sunday June 28.

Hellingly and Hailsham Cricket Clubs will play at 12pm at Horsebridge Recreation Ground.

Visitors can expect face painting, Steggies Soft Play and the Hailsham Lions will provide a candy floss machine.

There will also be a grand prize draw, with prizes donated by local businesses.

It is hoped this special event will encourage both children and adults to play cricket for either club.

Entry and parking is free, although there is limited parking space in the car park.

Everyone is welcome to join in the fun.

Hailsham FM, the community radio station will provide commentary for the match and music.
