54 people arrested across Hastings and Rother
Police said offences included: driving without insurance, criminal damage, assault, burglary, theft of motor vehicle, and arson.

Hide AdA spokesman for Hastings Police added: "The safety and welfare of local communities remains our top priority.
"Members of the public should continue to call 999 in an emergency where a crime is in progress or there is a threat to life. We are experiencing high call demand to both our 999 and 101 numbers.
"Non-emergency reports can still be made via our website, where they will be then be triaged and actioned."

Hide AdSince the Government announced the lockdown measures four weeks ago, a total of 226 people have been arrested across Hastings and Rother.
In the first week, 47 were detained with a further 53 arrested in the second week. The third week saw another 72 people taken into custody.
