All lanes have been re-opened on the A24 southbound at the Washington roundabout, it has been reported.

At 2.35pm today (Wednesday, May 31), AA Traffic News reported that there was queueing traffic at the A283 The Pike junction, following an earlier crash.

Drivers said northbound traffic was also slow because of vehicles parked on the road.

The South East Coast Ambulance Service was among emergency services at the scene. AA Traffic News is now saying that all lanes have been reopened.
