Police arrested a man after a bicycle was stolen from the Memorial Playing Field in the village on January 5.

A search of a property revealed a large quantity of bicycles and parts, and police are hoping to reunite the items with their owners.

The 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stealing a bicycle and handling stolen goods. He has been questioned and released on bail until January 28.

Police have asked anyone who recognises any of the bikes or bike parts to call 101 or email [email protected] quoting serial 0542 of 05/01.
