Armed police arrest knife-wielding man in Shoreham
Armed police responded to reports of a man with a knife at a house in Shoreham this morning (October 6).

According to Sussex Police, officers were called to Wilmot Road at 10.52am this morning, with paramedics also in attendance.
A 19-year-old man from Shoreham was arrested on suspicion of affray, police said, and remains in custody this afternoon.
Pictures from the scene show officers taking knives out of the back door of the property.
