Armed robbery at Willingdon Post Office


Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Willingdon Post Office, Wish Hill, yesterday (Wednesday March 18) at around 9am.

There were no firearms involved and no one was hurt.

Police later arrested two men, aged 22 and 24, on suspicion of robbery.

Sergeant Howard Nevill said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time to come forward with any information that may help with our investigation.”
