Bike and mower stolen during double Walberton burglary

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a double burglary in one Walberton road.

A variety of items were stolen from two different homes in West Walberton Lane, on Friday (October 14).

The burglary occurred at some time between midnight and 8am.

A Scott Scale 30 Mountain bike with a black and white frame and 30 gears was stolen, along with a Flymo lawn mower, black cycle helmet, black cycle gloves and a Bosch jet wash, after a garage in the road was broken into.

An Orange Flymo micro lawn mower was stolen, after two sheds, from another home in the lane, were broken into, at a similar time.

A van had also been accesssed and a search of the glove box was made, but nothing was stolen.
