Black Lives Matter flag set alight in Hove – incident treated as hate crime
Officers were called to Lansdowne Street in Hove on Tuesday (July 13) to reports of criminal damage outside a flat.
Police said: “A resident reported a Black Lives Matter (BLM) flag that had been hanging on their outside wall had been set alight, causing damage to both the flag and the wall.

Hide Ad“The incident is believed to have happened between 11.30pm on Monday (July 12) and 7am the following morning.
“It is being treated as a hate crime.”
