Bognor Regis crime ⁠— Can you help police solve the latest incidents?

Detectives are seeking help from the public in solving a number of crimes in and around Bognor Regis.

In its weekly crime bulletin, Sussex Police said numerous arrests were made over the past week, for offences including; domestic assault; actual bodily harm; wanted on warrant; criminal damage; possession of a class A drug; driving under the influence of drugs; driving without insurance; robbery; possession of an offensive weapon; fraud; immigration; assault on police; burglary dwelling; driving whilst disqualified and aggravated vehicle taking.

However, police said arrests are yet to be made for a number of other incidents including:

– A burglary at a derelict property currently under renovation in London Road overnight on Monday, March 2. Tools were stolen. Serial 0513 of 03/03.

– Four containers broken into and fishing equipment and tools stolen in Rope Walk overnight on Tuesday, March 3. Serial 0180 of 04/03.

– Over a two week period a beach hut was broken into and four wet suits stolen in Marine Drive West, Aldwick. There was also evidence of someone having stayed there. Serial 0450 of 07/03. Police said the adjoining beach hut was also broken into. Nothing was reported stolen but damage had been caused to the hut. Serial 0657 of 07/03.

– Money stolen after break-in at café in Upper Bognor Road, Hotham on Sunday, March 8, during the early hours of the morning. Serial 0169 of 08/03.

– Wallet stolen after break-in to vehicle in Rose Green Road, Pagham during the afternoon on Thursday, March 5 during the afternoon. Serial 1485 of 05/03.

– Ruck sack and wallet stolen from van in Westminster Drive, Aldwick overnight on Thursday, March 5. Serial 1059 of 06/03.

– Attempted break-in to property in Ford Lane, Ford on Tuesday, March 3, during late evening. No entry was gained. Serial 1635 of 03/03. Three days later, on the same road, there was a report of a container having been broken into and musical items stolen. Serial 1375 of 06/03. There was report of another two containers also having been broken into. Serial 1541 of 06/03.

– Overnight on Saturday, March 7, the window to a vehicle was broken in Elm Grove South, Barnham. No entry was gained. Serial 0482 of 08/03.
