POLICE have issued security advice after thefts from sheds in the Bognor Regis area.
The advice includes simple steps residents can take to make sure their outbuildings are secure and less attractive to thieves.
Security measures include securing expensive equipment like a lawn mowers, ladders and strimmers with good padlocks.
Fitting a battery operated alarm or extending house alarms to cover sheds and garages. Security marking tools and fittings, and using garden lighting to deter thieves.
