The two 16-year-olds were walking in the park at 3.50pm on Sunday, August 30, when they were approached by a group of three teenagers, police said. The boy was punched, sustaining facial bruising and the girl was kicked in the leg. The cycle they had with them was also kicked.
A police spokesman said: “An investigation is taking place and anyone who saw what happened or who has any other information can contact Sussex Police online https://www.sussex.police.uk/contact/af/contact-us/ or by calling 101, quoting serial 876 of 30/08.”
